What is the BBS Parent Association?
The primary objective of Boston Ballet School’s Parent Association (BBSPA) is to provide a link and sense of community among the parents of all three Boston Ballet School locations (Boston, Newton and Marblehead). The BBSPA is here to help you take full advantage of being connected to Boston Ballet, a world-class organization, by offering participation in events and activities sponsored by the Association and Boston Ballet. Our hope is that you will become more engaged, energized, and educated through opportunities provided to you through the Parent Association.
Additionally, each studio location seeks BBSPA Representatives, parents interested in taking a more active role in further increasing awareness of the association, as well as playing a supervisory role in the planning and preparations of BBSPA-sponsored events and activities.
How do I get involved in the BBSPA at my studio?
By enrolling your child at Boston Ballet School, you are automatically a member of the Parent Association. To learn more about how to get involved, please inquire with your local Studio Administrators or by emailing school@bostonballet.org. You will then be contacted by a BBSPA Representative for upcoming meetings, events and activities.
Join us for Curriculum Night: Training the Whole Student, a seminar for parents hosted by the Parent Association. The evening will feature a discussion on the School's teaching philosophy, progressive curriculum, and parent and student resources.
