Boston Ballet School accepts International students from Europe, South America, and Asia between the ages of 14-19. Canadian students, between the ages of 10-19, are also eligible to be accepted; however, please note that Canadian students between 10-13 are only eligible for the residential summer program. Students applying for either the school year or the summer term need to audition in order to be considered.
If you would like to audition for the Summer Dance Program, you must attend one of our scheduled auditions or submit a video. Click here for more information on Summer Dance Program auditions and video audition instructions.
If you would like to audition for the winter program you can:
1. Schedule an individual audition.
Please contact one of our Studio Administrators at 617.456.6333 or school@bostonballet.org to schedule an audition.
2. Attend a group audition.
Group auditions/placement classes for the 2013-2014 school year will take place in spring and summer 2013. Those interested in the Pre-Professional Program should attend a live group audition. Click here to learn more about auditions for the school year.
Upon acceptance into either program, you will receive a registration packet that contains an International Student Application. Students must complete and return this form in order to receive an I-20 form, mandatory for acquiring your M-1 visa.
