THE TRAINEE PROGRAM OVERVIEW

Boston Ballet School's Trainee Program offers select students with professional career potential the opportunity to complete a two year training program in anticipation of company auditions and placement. Students are typically high school graduates, are completing their academic studies through correspondence or enrolled in our Residential Partnership program with Grace Performing Arts Academy. In addition to morning and afternoon technique classes, the core ballet class curriculum includes modern, pas de deux and repertoire as well as separate pointe and men's classes. Further core strength and conditioning work is available through Pilates classes, Gyrokinesis and Bodycode instruction.

The Trainee program is limited to 20 students.

Trainees gain valuable rehearsal and performance experience as members of the Boston Ballet School Ensemble and as frequent participants in Boston Ballet II and Boston Ballet productions.

Enrollment in the Trainee Program is based upon recommendation of Boston Ballet School's principals.
