Monday: 12pm - 6pm
Tuesday through Thursday: 12pm-8pm
Friday and Saturday: 12pm-8:30pm

Q: What if I need special assistance?
A:
The House staff is available to assist patrons with
special needs. Wheelchair access (and companion)
seats are available through the Box Office or by calling Ticketmaster. Accessible bathrooms are located off the main lobby. The theatre is equipped with an infrared sound enhancement system. Headsets are available at no extra charge in the main lobby. Special seating for the visually impaired is available through the Box Office. A large print program is also available. See house staff for more information.

Q: Does the theatre have an elevator?

There is an elevator in The Opera House.
Wheelchair seating is available at all levels of the theatre.   

Q: Is there a minimum age requirement for The Nutcracker?
A:
Boston Ballet's policy is that The Nutcracker may not be suitable for children under the age of 4. Regardless of age, every patron must have a ticket. Lap sitting is not permitted. Infants are not allowed in the theatre

Q: Where is the best place to sit for The Nutcracker?
A:
Seating preferences depend on the individual. Some patrons enjoy being up close to the stage, while others prefer to be farther back in the orchestra section. The mezzanine gives you an elevated view of the stage, as does the balcony.

A: Approximately 2 hours.

Q: What should I wear to The Nutcracker?
A:
The atmosphere at The Nutcracker is very festive, and some people like to get very dressed up: girls often put on their velvet dresses, women their evening dresses, and men and boys their best holiday suits; but you may of course choose to dress more casually.
